Jason Goldstein has been working in permitting since 2014, running projects across Florida from a base in Central Florida, where Gold Standard Builder Services is headquartered. The work has ranged from single-family residential and local commercial build-outs to large-scale projects where a single submittal depends on several disciplines lining up first.
Outside Florida, he has provided permitting and consulting support on projects for national technology and retail companies in several states. Years of working directly with contractors, developers, design professionals and the permitting authorities themselves gave him something most software founders don’t have: a first-hand view of where the process actually breaks down, and which parts of it software can genuinely help with.
