County location and mailing city are different questions.
An Orlando mailing address does not necessarily mean a City of Orlando permit. Check the parcel through the Orange County Property Appraiser; if the municipality is Orlando, use the city guide. For another municipality, confirm its building department before starting a county application.

Match the record.
Use the same address, parcel and permit number on the response and revised documents. Confirm that your team has access to the existing permit before taking over a resubmittal.

Separate missing documents from design changes. Identify the responsible contractor, designer or owner and keep a concise list of what is still needed.
Preserve the current version.
Keep the original review comments and identify which sheets changed. Check the county’s response and upload task before marking a correction submitted in your tracker.

Does Orange County issue every building permit with an Orlando address?
No. This guide covers unincorporated Orange County. A property inside Orlando or another municipality may be served by that city. Confirm the parcel jurisdiction before selecting an application.
Do I need an account to submit through Fast Track?
Yes. Orange County says applying for permits and submitting electronic plans requires a Fast Track Member Services account. Public searches and some other features are available without that account.
Should I upload contractor registration documents with every application?
Treat contractor registration as a separate account and licensing step, then follow the permit-specific document request. Check the county’s registration instructions instead of assuming the same credential upload is needed for every permit.
Does permitOS replace Fast Track?
No. Direct AHJ filing is not currently integrated. permitOS supports preparation and tracking; county applications, corrections and required uploads must still be completed in Fast Track.
